Amacam! haha. Freaking long time man! haha. Been really damn lazy to blog since i enlisted coz i dont really have much to blog about besides ns life and im sure you guys aren't interested in that shit. Oh well, since i've mustered the will to blog, here goes.
As you all know, i got posted to CD and i went through the 7 weeks of Basic Rescue Training( BRT, not BMT). Struggled at first coz i didnt really train physically for my enlistment. haha. But as the weeks rolled by, i could see that i became fitter and i could cope with the hundreds of pumping the fucking instructors made us do everyday. haha. So then i POP-ed( without an actual parade. CD damn fucking budget. ) and got posted to MEDIC. Kind of expected that coz im from JC. So yeap, i', going through the 6-week course now. Finally gotten over my fear of needles coz we get injected every friday and also coz we had to do IV on each other. Got to feel how warm blood is when it flowed all over my arm. haha. 3 weeks to go then i'll be posted to fire station, hopefully one near my house, and attached to ambulance. that means i'll be attending to road traffic accidents, suicide cases and all that shit. Gonna be pretty traumatising. Lol.
The best part about being a medic is that im on office hours throughout the duration of the course! the downside is that i have to report at 730am each day so that means i have to wake up at like 5 everyday. haha. However, once i get posted out, i'll be working two days, then two days off, and so on and so forth. Good life.
On the university aspect, i got accepted into NUS. What a relief. But i'm gonna try applying for schaolarships next year coz i really wanna go overseas. Get some perspective and of coz, have a ball of a time overseas. haha. If i dont get it, i'll still have NUS to fall back on. Cross your fingers aite? lol.
