Always and Forever

No no, im not here to post my latest draft on my 'book'. haha. Sadly, haven't made any progress since the last draft. Haven't really sat down to plan the whole thing. When i decided to undertake this task, had no idea of the level of planning that writing a book would entail. Really respect all the authors out there, especially J.K Rowling whose level of planning is truly phenomenal.

Anyway, decided that i have to look for a job today. Someone close to me said that i should take the initiative and go on a job-search, rather than rotting at home. That was what really compelled me to start searching. So if any of you peeps have any job info, please share with me.Your help is greatly appreciated =)

I love you, always and forever

Caught body of lies yesterday with my sec school friends, Zul, Hirman, MeiZhen, Poonie and Faiz. The movie is really good and i recommend all of you guys to catch it. It's about the CIA, terrorism, Al-Qaeda and of course, American propaganda. Take everything you see with a pinch of salt. lol. I give it 4 popcorns out of 5. Hahahaha. Anyway, worked on a new draft for the prologue of my 'book'. Please read it and give me your honest opinion peeps. Honest feedback and criticism is greatly appreciated =)

She was there. With her willowy grace, she walked towards him. An angel ordained from heaven. His heart raced, beating a tattoo on the inside of his chest. Her smile was bewitching, tantalizing. He walked towards her and embraced her in his arms. He gazed into her amber brown eyes and knew that she was the one. He angled his head forward, anticipating the kiss…

The bus gave a sudden jolt, waking him out his reverie. He shook his head and grinned to himself. He should have known it was a dream. He pressed the bell, alighted from the bus and watched as the bus trundled off, its taillights fading into the darkness of the night.

He turned and made his way slowly down the street. It was a clear night and the velvety darkness of the sky was riddled with the sprinkling of stars, which seemed as if each one was determined to outshine the other. A gentle breeze tugged lightly at the hem of his soccer jersey, sweeping through his straight jet-black hair. His legs felt like two dead weights. Fatigue filled every muscle of his lanky frame. Coach Fordman had drilled him especially hard today. Dan could still see the disappointment etched clearly on his face and his cry of “You’re mentally weak!” reverberating in his ears. His team had lost the practice match today and it was partly his fault.

The chime signaling the arrival of the elevator jarred him from his thoughts. He shuffled in, pressed the button marked ‘11’ and slumped against the walls, preoccupied with his thoughts. The doors opened and he exited. The blaring sound of the television could faintly be heard as he approached his apartment.

The warm glow of the lights greeted him as he entered his home. “So how was the match, Dan? Did you…” his mom enquired and stopped mid-sentence as the look on Dan’s face clearly gave her the answer.” He made his way into his room and threw his bag in the corner. He took his towel and entered the bathroom. Dan let out a sigh of satisfaction as the warm water buffeted his face and body, the tension ebbing away from his sore muscles.

He toweled himself dry and put on a faded Metallica T-shirt and shorts. Thoughts of the interview the next day with the head of the planning committee of the Freshmen Orientation, which would commence in the coming month of January, filled his mind as he threw himself on his bed. Exhaustion tugged at his eyelids, lulling him to succumb to the blissful temptation. Tomorrow I’ll ace that interview, Dan thought, as he closed his eyes. Tomorrow my life will change.

Fate does have an uncanny way of proving one right.

Just some stuff

Hey y'all! Im back once again, reawakened from the dead, and back in the blogging world. haha. hmm been thinking about writing a book after the As. Haven't exactly decided on the plot yet but here's like 3 paragraphs i came up with. Its really very sketchy and i came up with it in less than half an hour. Just give it a read and tell me what you think alright =)

The bus gave a sudden jolt and woke him out of his reverie. He shook his head and grinned to himself. He should have known it was a dream. He pressed the bell, alighted from the bus and made his way to school. Yishun Junior College. His alma mater. A year ago if someone had told him that he would be going to YJC, he would have laughed and nonchalantly brushed the possibility aside. Mediocre preliminary exam results and an L1R5 of 16 later, here he was, on the brink of his second and final year at YJC.

When he had first stepped into the school, he thought that his future was ruined. His dream at that point of time was to enter Meridian Junior College. That dream was brutally crushed by good old Fate. As time wore on, he made friends and soon realized that the people were really great there. They gave him a fresh perspective on his life at YJC. He joined the soccer team and found himself among brothers. The camaraderie of the “Soccer Boys”, as they were known, was unrivalled by any of the other Co-curricular Activities and soccer soon became the main reason why he looked forward to going to school. Fast forward to the present, final year, A levels.

Randomness, Nothingness

Its the most important thing, love
finding the right person
Love finds you,
you don't find love
You dont have a choice

I will never understand the immensity and complexity of love
